Terms of service

What DealR is
DealR is a listing and coordination tool for Discord communities that trade game items. It structures listings, carries offers between members, and opens a private channel for each accepted deal. It is not a marketplace operator, a payment processor, or a middleman.
DealR is not built for any particular game. The game a listing is for is a field the member types, and a server owner decides which games their community trades in. DealR is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any game or game publisher, and names typed into listings belong to their owners.
DealR is not a party to your trades
Every trade happens directly between two members. DealR does not hold items, hold funds, verify that an item exists, guarantee delivery, or reverse a completed trade. If a trade goes wrong, it is a matter between the two traders and the server's moderators.
Age
DealR is used through Discord, and Discord requires every account holder to be at least 13, or older where local law sets a higher minimum. By using DealR you confirm you meet that requirement. Server owners are responsible for their own members meeting it: DealR does not collect dates of birth and has no way to verify anyone's age.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of your listings, including proof images. Do not list items you do not own, items obtained through exploits or account theft, or anything the game's own terms prohibit. Do not use DealR to arrange trades that break the rules of the game you are trading in.
Server owners
Owners choose which games their community trades in, the server's trading policy, and whether the market is public. Owners are responsible for moderating their own market and for keeping what happens in it within the rules of the games they have chosen and the terms of any platform those games run on. DealR does not police that for them and is not able to.
Pro subscriptions
Pro is billed per server, monthly or yearly, through Stripe. Cancelling ends the subscription at the end of the paid period and returns the server to the free plan. No listings, deals or history are lost.
DealR does not give refunds for change of mind, for a period you have already been billed for, or for the remainder of a period after you cancel. Your access continues until that period ends.
Nothing in these terms excludes the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law. If Pro is faulty, is not as described, or does not do what we said it does, you are entitled to a remedy under that law and this refund policy does not limit it.
Reporting a listing or a member
A listing or a member is the server's own business, and its staff moderate it. Report them to that server's moderators the way you would report anything else there. Owners have the tools in the DealR console: they can remove, pause or close any listing in their market, and they can warn, restrict or blacklist a member from using the market at all.
Reporting a server
A whole server using DealR for something it should not be is our business rather than the owner's, since the owner is the one doing it. Anyone can report a server, whether or not they use DealR, by emailing the address at the bottom of this page with the server and what it is doing. A game publisher or rights holder reporting a server for trading that breaks their own terms is treated the same way.
Reports are reviewed and acted on. A server can be taken out of the public market, or DealR can be removed from it entirely. We do not undertake to monitor listings in advance, and we do not read server channels: acting on a report is how a problem reaches us.
Suspension
Accounts and servers that repeatedly post fraudulent listings, evade moderation, or abuse the offer system may lose access to DealR.
Governing law
DealR is operated from Australia. These terms are governed by the law of Australia, and disputes go to the courts there.
Changes
Material changes to these terms are published on this page, with the date at the top of it updated, before they take effect. Continuing to use DealR after that date means the revised terms apply.
